What Customers Say About Bodum 5679-03USA C-Mill Blade Grinder, White:

Problems :* does not grind coffee very fine and leaves many whole beans* very limited volume for beans* top is not secure, and can fall off easily (mostly an issue for when taking it in and out of the cabinet)* broke after 4 months of 'weekend-only' use (the blade just fell off)

Great coffee chopper (no burrs so I won't call it a grinder). The main difference between this and the other I've owned is that the chopped coffee doesn't get hot. In most others the coffee at the bottom of the chamber gets cooked by the friction of the blades. Cooked coffee means less flavor in the cup.I won't give up my burr grinder for this, but its very good for the office or when I am too lazy to clean out my burr grinder.

Terrible product; it has to be constantly shaken to obtain anything approaching a complete grind; usually I give up. The first time I used the Bodum grinder I knew it was almost useless. We bought this to replace a Mr. Coffee grinder that broke after 10+ years of constant use. It's stylish though. A complete waste of money.you get the picture now I hope.

Good strong motor, but after two weeks of everyday use the grinder stayed on after releasing the button in the cap. It never would turn off again. Also a word to the wise. Buy a good burr grinder if you want your coffee to be consistently good. Overall blade grinders just don't give you a consistent grind.

I bought this grinder because it was a cheap one. Sometimes they appear, sometimes they don't. I can only make 1 - 1 1/2 cup before it starts going warm. I needed something to make almond flour, and was told that a coffee grinder would do the trick. For it's price, and my use it works just fine. This was the cheapest one they had in the store. As for the actual use, it does it's job just fine. I do not drink coffe, so if you're reading this rewiev for specific coffee-needs, please disregard.I use it for chopping up nuts. I have noticed this happends more often with cashews than any other kind. What bothers me more is how quickly the engine goes warm.

It produces a fine flour I can use for making nutbreads and other things. Occasionally there are a few nuts that aren't chopped up, but I think that has more to do with how much I put in it at the time. And then I have to wait a long time before it cools down again, wich can be a bit of a hassle. But overall this is a good nut-grinder. It's alittle slow and loud, and I have to take several turns to grind up 1 cup of nuts, but for the price I paid, I don't expect much more.
